  • Rolawn Vegetable & Fruit Topsoil is a slightly heavier fertile, peat-free, friable topsoil which is blended with additional organic matter to ensure consistent growing results. It is suitable for a wide range of crops in any planting format. It does not contain manures which can be variable and in some instances, potentially harmful. It is tested in accordance with the revised British Standard, which includes suitability for growing edible crops.

    Our Vegetable & Fruit Topsoil is easy to work and barrow, even when wet, making it perfect for filling raised vegetable beds and planters or enhancing the soil in your vegetable patch or fruit beds. 

    • Typically classed as a ‘Loamy Sand’.

    • Contains soil conditioners.

    • Mix of topsoil and soil conditioners suitable for growing a variety of vegetables and fruit.

    • Ideal for raised beds and containers.

    • Screened to 20mm.

    • Peat free.

    • Safe.

    • Independently tested for 70+ parameters to confirm it is free from contaminants, ensuring consistency, high quality and safety.

    • Analysed to BS 3882:2015 as suitable for residential home-grown use.

    For certain crops such as tomatoes and courgettes, which require a higher nitrogen supply, levels should be supplemented by the grower.

  • Delivery Information

    As the Rolawn soil is delivered in 500 litre bags - which are both bulky in size and heavy - it is important to ensure you have suitable vehicular access before ordering to avoid disappointment and extra or failed delivery charges. Please take a moment to read through Rolawn's detailed Delivery Requirements Checklist and view their delivery terms and conditions below - failure to do so could result in extra delivery charges. There will be a minimum charge of £30 per pallet for any failed deliveries. 

    • Delivery is available to UK mainland addresses only

    • Deliveries will be made between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)

    • Rolawn bulk bags and pallets are 'non-returnable'

    • The delivery vehicle measures  11m (36ft) long  2.5m (8ft) wide 4.6m (15ft) high. The delivery driver will have a pallet truck on his vehicle to unload your order. Unfortunately pallet trucks can only operate on tarmac, concrete and paved areas, which need to be level and clear of obstructions, they are not able to be operated on gravel drives.

    • If ordering multiple bags, the bags will be double stacked when delivered

    • If delivery questions are not answered correctly and delivery is attempted but fails, extra delivery or failed delivery charges will be incurred

    • Orders are despatched directly from Rolawn. You will be contacted directly by Rolawn by email to arrange your delivery which will be made between 7am-6pm Monday/Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)
