Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron, to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium have been added. When exposed to the outside air, the material is covered with a protective layer of rust. This natural layer of rust forms the protection against further corrosion. As a result, products made of corten steel have a long lifespan.

Products are delivered unrusted. The rust product of corten steel lasts approximately 4-5 months, depending on the weather conditions.
Important points to note:
Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt, so that any moisture between the packaging and the product is not trapped. This can cause irregular rust spots.
We do not recommend using Corten steel within 2km of a coastline.
During the rusting process, rust water may come off the product.
The warranty will be void if you drill or grind in a manner not prescribed.
