  • SPECIFICATIONS:

    • 5-year guarantee.

    • Aluminium planters are very robust, hard-wearing, resistant to corrosion and durable.

    • The aluminium has a thickness of 3 mm. It can also be supplied in other thicknesses. Please enquire for a quotation.

    • The planter has hidden feet and drainage holes. This allows it to float a little above the ground (15 mm) and provides optimal drainage.

    • Scratch-resistant topcoat..

    • Standard RAL colours are RAL 7016, RAL 7021, RAL 9005 and RAL 9016. There is a start-up charge for other colours, please enquire for a quotation.

    • Also available in Corten Steel

    Key points of interest:

    • Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt to release any moisture trapped inside the packaging. This moisture can cause stains that are difficult to remove.

    • Keep the drainage holes clear to allow excess water to run off.

    • The guarantee expires if you drill or grind in a way that is not specified.

    • Clean annually by hosing dirt from the planter with clean tap water, followed by cleaning with detergent. Do not use a pressure washer and/or scouring pad for this purpose. This damages the coating.

    PLANTING ADVICE:

    • Insert the overflow pipes into the drainage holes prepared for them.

    • Fill the planter with about 10 cm of drainage material.

    • Place a permeable anti-root membrane over the drainage material.

    • Cover the membrane with soil suitable for your chosen plants.

    • Keep the drainage holes clear so that excess water can run off.

  • POLYUREA:

    Waterproof versions of our planters are also available. The insides of these planters are sealed with a polyurea plastic coating.

    Polyurea plastic coating is a two-component polymer with high molecular density. When the two components are mixed together, an exothermic reaction occurs, resulting in a very tough and highly elastic protective layer. We apply the coating to the inside of the planter, which makes the planter waterproof.

    NOTE! A waterproof planter with polyurea coating is not suitable for use as a pond. Our ponds are given additional reinforcements to prevent deformation due to water pressure.
